Olim Bauda is the ambitious one of the three — fourteen wines spanning the map of Piemonte, from Nizza DOCG Riserva down through Barbera d'Asti (the everyday La Villa, the serious Le Rocchette) to Grignolino, Freisa, Gavi and a Moscato d'Asti called Centive. There's even a Metodo Classico brut nature for anyone who likes their bubbles bone-dry. Nearly twenty thousand Vivino ratings make it far and away the most-reviewed estate in the village, and a near-perfect Google score from visitors backs up the reputation.
Tastings run by reservation, though the estate keeps a sales point open every day, roughly ten to six with a break for lunch — a short call ahead smooths the way. The visit is offered in English as well as Italian, so your Italian doesn't need to be good. The Tenuta sits on Via Prata just outside Incisa Scapaccino, vines in every direction; book a proper tasting and they'll walk you through four wines that between them cover most of what these hills grow.
