Asti Antique Market (Mercatino dell'Antiquariato)
On the fourth Sunday of every month up to about 150 dealers and hobbyists set out antiques, second-hand goods and collectibles in Piazza Alfieri, the big arcaded square in the centre of Asti.
Why it's special
The Mercatino dell'Antiquariato is the city's monthly rummage: collectibles, books, records, stamps, vintage pieces and curiosities, laid out along the pedestrian side of the square in front of the Portici Anfossi. It runs all year and all day, so it's easy to fit into a Sunday in Asti.
