Sant'Anna is a frazione of Montiglio Monferrato, north-west of the main village, best known for its July Sagra dell'acciuga al verde. It also keeps a long-running carnival: the Comune's 2025 calendar listed the 64th Carnevale di S. Anna on Sunday 9 March, a week after the children's carnival in Montiglio itself and a week before the 'Carnevalone' of Carboneri.
