Cocconato Letteraria – Il Borgo racconta
An autumn afternoon of 'letture in cammino': readings at stops along the streets of Cocconato, then an author talk in the village library. Organised by the Biblioteca Civica.
Why it's special
It's a walk and a reading in one. The group stops in corners of the village to hear passages from history, fiction, essays and poetry. In 2026 the walk ends in the library with Dario Rei, whose book of stories from between Asti and Turin features a well-known son of Cocconato.
Programme · 2026
- Meet at 15:45 at the starting point (in 2026 the Parco Felice Babilano, Corso Pinin Giachino 62).
- If it rains the readings move into the library.

Cocconato Letteraria is the village library's walking reading. A group sets off through the streets and stops in some of the village's best corners to listen to passages from history, novels, essays and poetry. In 2026 it ends in the library with an author talk. It's small and free. You'll get most out of it if you understand Italian, but anyone can join the walk.
