Concerto di Natale "Musica dei Donum optimi"
Cocconato's Christmas concert in the parish church of Santa Maria della Consolazione. In 2025 it was the Rosamystica choir's 'Musica dei Donum Optimi'; in 2026 it's a gospel concert on 8 December, the day the presepi go up.
Why it's special
It's held in the brick parish church of Santa Maria della Consolazione, whose staircase carries Cocconato's life-size presepe over Christmas, so it pairs well with a walk round the nativity scenes.

Cocconato's Christmas concert is held in Santa Maria della Consolazione, the parish church whose staircase holds the village's life-size presepe in December. The programme changes from year to year. In 2025 the Rosamystica choir sang Renaissance polyphony (Byrd, Schütz, Palestrina, Lassus) under the title 'Musica dei Donum Optimi'. For 2026 the Comune has announced a gospel concert on 8 December, the same day Il Borgo e i suoi Presepi opens.
