Festa dell'Acciuga
The Festa dell'Acciuga — the Anchovy Festival — brings Cocconato together over food, celebrating the salted-anchovy tradition of the Monferrato hills.
Why it's special
It honours the old acciughe (anchovy) trade of the Asti hill towns, once carried around by the 'acciugai' peddlers.
