Nizza's centuries-old autumn fair honours the local cardo gobbo (hunchback cardoon) and bagna cauda, now paired with the White Truffle Fair of the Alto Monferrato — a full day of grand market, tastings and cooking shows.
Why it's special
The cardo gobbo di Nizza — a Slow Food presidium — stars in a huge market and a 'bagna cauda marathon' at one of the oldest fairs around (508th edition in 2025). From 2025 it runs alongside the new Fiera del Tartufo Bianco Pregiato dell'Alto Monferrato at Palazzo Crova.
