A regional white truffle fair for the 'king of the autumn table', with local food, wine and crafts, markets and a festive buzz.
Why it's special
Cortazzone is a hilltop village with a Romanesque church nearby, and its truffle fair is one of the smaller, authentic Monferrato ones — a local traditions-and-culture affair rather than a tourist-scale event.

22nd edition, organised by the Pro Loco Cortazzonese. Free entry, 9:00–19:00, in Piazza Bianco Tommaso, the Piazzale Polisportiva and Via per Montafia.

market of local products around the white truffle: honey, salumi, cheeses, flours, sweets, wines and crafts
In the marquee
the trifulau gathering, the truffle show and the judging of the best truffles, with prizes for plates in four categories (trifulau, traders, local trifulau, black truffles) and for the best single truffle
