Halloween a Casale Monferrato
Casale's free Halloween afternoon for children and families: a costumed trick-or-treat parade through the centre from Piazza Mazzini, then a family musical at the Paraboloide.
Why it's special
The comune turns the town centre over to children for an afternoon: stilt-walkers and costumed performers lead a parade with music, dancing, quizzes and riddles through the streets, and the afternoon ends with a show in the Paraboloide, a 1920s industrial warehouse with a parabolic concrete vault, now used by the town for events.

- Meet in Piazza Mazzini at 15:30 for the parade; the musical at the Paraboloide starts at 17:00, and the afternoon ends around 19:30.

On 31 October Casale Monferrato puts on a free Halloween afternoon aimed at children and their families.
It starts at 15:30 in Piazza Mazzini, the arcaded main square, with "La parata dei colori": a parade through the centre led by performers in costume and stilt-walkers, with music, dancing and street entertainment. Children follow along trick-or-treating, and there are quizzes and riddles on the way.
At 17:00 everyone moves to the Paraboloide, a 1920s industrial warehouse with a parabolic concrete vault, for "Coco – Un viaggio nella musica", a family musical built on the story and music of the animated film, with theatre, dance, singing and lighting effects.
Both parts are free and need no booking. Come in costume.
