Once a month, dealers set up under the arcades of Piazza Carlo Alberto and Piazza Garibaldi with antiques, old prints and Piedmontese bric-a-brac.
Why it's special
It's the reason to be in Moncalvo on a first Sunday: the stalls run beneath the porticoes of the town's two main squares, so you can rummage for rustic furniture and collectibles with the arcades overhead and the hilltop views out the ends of the streets.

Every first Sunday of the month — bar January — the dealers come to Moncalvo. They set up under the arcades of Piazza Carlo Alberto and Piazza Garibaldi, and the tables fill with the usual good stuff: rustic Piedmontese furniture, old prints, linens, vinyl, the odd genuine find among the collectibles.
Come in the morning, when the choice is best and the light's still low under the porticoes. The arcades mean weather isn't a dealbreaker, and it's an easy add-on to a hilltop wander — the same squares that host the truffle fair and the fat-ox judging, only quieter and browsable.
