It's the city's standing date for browsers and collectors: twelve Sundays a year under the porticoes of Piazza Garibaldi, with a range that runs from period furniture to farmhouse bric-a-brac.

On the first Sunday of every month the arcades of Piazza Garibaldi in Alessandria fill with the stalls of L'Officina delle Memorie, the city's antiques market. It's a broad mix: antiques and collectables, period furniture, prints, good-quality modernariato, old farm objects (contadinerie) and art books, running along the porticoes and on into Piazza Marconi.
The traders' contact is the Procom consortium, and the market appears every month in the Regione Piemonte fair calendar.
