Ricami DiVini

A late-May weekend where Rosignano fills the Teatro Ideal and its streets with fine embroidery — an international needlework show, wrapped in wine tastings, art and a rose-themed lunch.

Why it's special

It pairs two things Rosignano is proud of: a serious international embroidery exhibition, with makers from Italy and abroad, and its own Grignolino-country wine. The needlework is the draw — a themed 'secret garden' or 'segreto' show each year — but the ProLoco's tasting point, the art side-shows and the flowers turn a craft fair into a village weekend.

A tip
  • The core exhibition is at the [Teatro Ideal](/villages/rosignano-monferrato) and Casa Cassano, usually 10–19 both days; the ProLoco runs a food-and-wine tasting point in Piazza Sant'Antonio.
  • Sunday adds music, floral displays and 'Il Pranzo delle Rose'.
  • Come for the embroidery, stay for the Grignolino.

For a weekend in late May Rosignano Monferrato gives its Teatro Ideal over to thread. Ricami DiVini is an international embroidery show — makers from Italy and abroad, a themed exhibition each year (in 2025, Il giardino segreto, dedicated to the memory of Anna Dell'Oste) — spread through the theatre and Casa Cassano and out into the village streets.

The needlework is the heart of it, but this is Grignolino country and the ProLoco knows it: there's a food-and-wine tasting point in Piazza Sant'Antonio, a contemporary textile-art strand called FiloFood, music, flowers, and a Sunday Pranzo delle Rose. The whole thing reads as a village weekend built around a craft.

Dates land on a late-May weekend; the comune posts the year's programme ahead of time. Come for the embroidery and let the rest — the wine, the roses, the hillside — happen around you.
