Sagra del Fiazein — Battagliosi (Molare)
The summer sagra of Battagliosi, a hamlet of Molare: on a late-June Sunday afternoon the Pro Loco di Battagliosi-Albareto cooks fiazein non-stop, served with draught beer, music and a free gimkana for children.
Why it's special
Fiazein is Battagliosi's own speciality, and this is its sagra, now thirty years old: an afternoon given over to the hamlet's signature food, cooked non-stop from mid-afternoon.
Programme · 2026
30th edition, Pro Loco Battagliosi-Albareto.
- The fiazein are made non-stop from 15:00, so there's no need to arrive at a set time.
- Children can enter the gimkana for free.
Up in Battagliosi, a hamlet of Molare, the Pro Loco di Battagliosi-Albareto has been holding a sagra for its own speciality, fiazein, for thirty years. On a Sunday afternoon at the end of June the cooks start at 15:00 and keep the fiazein coming without a break, with draught beer to go with them and music through the afternoon. Children get a gimkana tournament, free to enter.
It's a small hamlet festa, and the same Pro Loco is back in October with its castagnata, when the fiazein are served with roast chestnuts.
