Cerrina's summer food sagra, held with the San Giovanni patronal feast — the Pro Loco kitchen turns out the local agnolotti over several June evenings, with live music, sport and a luna park.
Why it's special
The town's own plate on the town's own feast: hand-made agnolotti (the Monferrato stuffed pasta) served by the Pro Loco alongside the patronal celebration of San Giovanni, with bands, a bocce/sport programme and a luna park for the kids — a proper village sagra rather than a tourist event.

- It's held with the Festa Patronale di San Giovanni (24 June), on a Friday-to-Monday run close to the saint's day.
Every June, Cerrina Monferrato celebrates its patron San Giovanni the way a Monferrato village does best — with a plate of agnolotti. The Sagra dell'Agnolotto runs over several evenings in Via Casale Molino: the Pro Loco kitchen serves the local stuffed pasta and Monferrato dishes from around seven, and around it there's live music, a sport programme and a luna park for the children.
It's a village feast, not a tourist show — the reason to come is the food and the crowd of locals. Each night the kitchen adds a special to the classic and magro agnolotti (with summer truffle one year, porcini or a fiery salamino sauce another), and the saint's procession goes through the frazione of Valle on the Saturday. It runs Friday to Monday close to the San Giovanni patronal day (24 June); check the Pro Loco Cerrina channels for the year's exact dates.
