Casale's winter theatre and dance season at the nineteenth-century Teatro Municipale — a run of prose, comedy, ballet, operetta and music from November to April, with big names off the Italian touring circuit.
Why it's special
The Municipale is a proper little gem of a house, and the season pulls real names — Filippo Timi, Elio, the Balletto di Milano, the Legnanesi — to a town this size. A good rainy-evening reason to be in Casale in winter.

The Teatro Municipale is Casale's nineteenth-century house, and its winter season is the town's cultural anchor from November to April — prose and comedy, a ballet, an operetta, the odd concert. For a town this size the names are surprisingly big: Filippo Timi's "Amleto²" and the Legnanesi in 2025/26; Lella Costa, Lunetta Savino, Elio Germano and Tullio Solenghi in 2026/27.
Shows sell by subscription or single ticket, and a parallel programme outside the subscription covers the holidays — a Christmas concert, a New Year's Eve concert and an Epiphany operetta or ballet. The new season is unveiled in late summer, so check the theatre's page before you plan a winter visit.
