Svicoliamo
Moncalvo's summer street festival in the lanes (vicoli) of the old town: a gin night in Piazza Garibaldi, then an evening of food, wine and live music spread through the streets, with a free headline concert.
Why it's special
The whole historic centre becomes the venue. The town's shops and restaurants each take a corner with their own dish, there are wine and music stops down the alleys, and the night ends with a free concert and a DJ in Piazza Garibaldi. It's run by Moncalvo Eventi, the comune's young events team, and it feels like it.

For a couple of summer nights Moncalvo turns its old centre into one long street party. Svicoliamo (roughly "let's wander the lanes") is run by Moncalvo Eventi, the comune's events team, and it does what the name says: the food, wine and music are spread through the vicoli of the hilltop, and you eat your way from one to the next.
The format moves a little each year. Recent editions have opened with a gin night in Piazza Garibaldi, with producers pouring and a band playing, and saved the big night for the Saturday, when the town's shops and restaurants each serve their own dish along the route. Musicians play on the corners and a free headline concert fills the piazza before a DJ takes it late. In 2025 it also brought contemporary dance to the steps of San Francesco.
It's a grown-up night out more than a family one. Go hungry, walk the whole route, and check the dates above.
