Teatro sotto le stelle is an open-air amateur theatre festival in Castagnole Monferrato: four Saturday-evening comedy performances by local companies in the Cortile dei Camminatori courtyard.
Why it's special
Different local dialect/amateur theatre companies perform under the stars on successive Saturdays, with Pro Loco refreshments after each show.

Open-air amateur theatre season ('Teatro sotto le stelle') at Via al Castello 66, Castagnole Monferrato, organised by the Comune di Castagnole Monferrato. All performances start at 21:00, each followed by a refreshment (rinfresco). Programme: Saturday 20 June 2026 — 'Quelli dell'altra sponda (che salvarono Napoleone)', a comedy by Compagnia Teatrale Fubinese, inspired by the Lysistrata theme (the women of Castellar Ponzano besieged by Napoleon, using food as leverage). Saturday 27 June 2026 — 'Prima o poi... capita a tutti', comic sketches by Compagnia Teatrale Ikeatrando, an ironic look at death. Saturday 11 July 2026 — 'Voglio vendere la pallas', a brilliant comedy by Compagnia Teatrale MiTiChielCullì, about a matrimonial agency and a funeral-services agency sharing the same premises. Saturday 25 July 2026 — 'Funny Residence', a comedy by Compagnia Teatrale Arkobalengo, set in the courtyard of the San Gregorio residence. Info and bookings by WhatsApp message: 379 14 82 324.
