Private Piedmontese cooking class at Giarvino

You plan the menu with the house chef, then roll it yourself — tajarin, gnocchi, agnolotti, plus vitello tonnato and a hazelnut cake — and sit down to the three courses you just made. It's a private, hands-on class at a boutique guest house on a vineyard estate up in the Moirano hamlet above Acqui Terme. From €250 for one or two of you, with a supplement per extra person.
