The Zafiri family farm sits in the Valle San Giovanni above Calamandrana, founded by Giuseppe Zafiri in 1949 and still worked as a small mixed agricultural estate in the Alto Monferrato hills. Wine is the core: a Barbera d'Asti DOCG alongside a handful of proprietary labels — the reds "Dla lùca" and "La Fisa", the white "Garbato", and the sparkling "Vivacitas" and "Ribotà" — sold direct together with grape must and other farm produce.
The cellar is open for visits and paid tastings, which can be booked through the estate's experiences page. Valter guides in Italian and Marina in English.
