The farmhouse at Cantine Adelaide dates to 1866, in the UNESCO-listed hills of Monferrato at Calamandrana, and the family still runs it. They make the Piedmontese classics โ Barbera d'Asti and Dolcetto alongside Nebbiolo-based reds and Moscato. A visit means a guided tour through the old underground cellars, then a tasting paired with local food. Book ahead, come in Italian or English, and you can carry bottles home straight from the estate.
