Bosco Bracco sits high above Canelli and puts Barbera front and centre: two Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG bottlings in Le Serre and La Riva, a Barbera–Nebbiolo red called Il Masio, an easier-drinking Barbera in Il Tramonto, and a Chardonnay white, Le Vallon.
Tastings and tours are often led by the winemaker himself, and there's a villa you can book if you want to stay — you can even arrange a private cooking class. Visitors single out the long views over the vineyards toward the Alps, the barrel-to-glass tastings run one-on-one, and how easy the estate makes shipping wine home.
