Azienda Agricola Paoletti is a young family winery on Strada San Sebastiano, south of Cocconato's centre and a couple of hundred metres from the village's Big Bench. Daniele and Martina run it and make wine from their own vineyards. They belong to the Consorzio Cocconato Riviera del Monferrato, the local producers' association. There's no website, so details of the range are thin: visitors mention a Barbera and a Moscato, and tastings that take in a white, a ros茅 and a red.
Tastings are small and personal. Reviewers keep coming back to the couple's enthusiasm and how much they explain about their work in the vineyard and the cellar, and bottles can be bought on the spot. Phone ahead before you go.
