Tenuta Ronzano straddles two of Piemonte's names: twelve hectares on the Costigliole d'Asti hills and eight more down at Neive in the Langhe, worked by Marco and Paola, third generation since the estate started in 1963. That reach shows in the cellar — Barbera d'Asti here, two Barbaresco crus (Bricco Neive and Pepino) from over there, a Langhe Nebbiolo and an Alta Langa Metodo Classico for the sparkling.

Tastings run by reservation through book.tenutaronzano.it, and come autumn they'll take you out truffle-hunting with the dogs — Nicolò leads the walks and knows the ground. It's offered in English as well as Italian; Google visitors rate it 4.8 across getting on for forty reviews, and Vivino's 723 ratings sit at 3.9. Book ahead, since the family's usually out in whichever vineyard needs them.
