Massimiliano and Maura started Tenuta Magrini in 2022 with a plainly stated aim: to leave the place a little better than they found it. In practice that's Barbera farmed organically and fermented on its own wild yeasts, nothing added — they're VinNatur members, and the wines come out honest and unfussed. Three labels so far, all Barbera: the rosé Giglio Rosa, the Millecolli, and the Madonna dei Monti Superiore.
It's a young, small estate in a restored cascina among the Grazzano hills, quiet enough to feel bucolic and about an hour from Milan. Come for the wine and the calm, but ask before you visit — there are only two people doing everything.
