Andrea Ivaldi runs this four-generation family winery in Nizza Monferrato, farming around twelve hectares split between Nizza and neighbouring Castel Boglione. Barbera is the heart of it — Nizza DOCG and Barbera d'Asti — but the range spreads wide across Piedmont: Moscato d'Asti, Dolcetto, Freisa, Brachetto d'Acqui, Chardonnay, Favorita and an Alta Langa sparkling.
Come for a guided walk through the vineyards and cellar and you'll end at the tasting table; Andrea hosts in Italian, English and French. What visitors keep mentioning is the welcome — personal, unhurried, the kind you don't rush away from.
