Azienda Vitivinicola Berta Paolo is a family estate that has grown vines for seven generations on the San Michele hill, on the border between Monferrato and the Langhe. Its sun-facing, amphitheatre-shaped vineyards yield reds from Barbera, Dolcetto and Brachetto and whites from Cortese and Moscato, with Nizza DOCG bottlings such as La Berta and the Heritage Riserva as flagships.
The winery opens its cellar for tastings, bookable through its website, and in season offers picnics among the vine rows. Visitors consistently highlight the family's hospitality and the setting.
