Cantina di Nizza is the town's cooperative, founded in 1955 and now pooling the work of several hundred grower-members who farm the hills around Nizza Monferrato. Barbera is its heart, made in a run of styles that includes several Nizza DOCG bottlings, alongside whites and aromatic wines from Cortese, Chardonnay, Moscato and Brachetto.
There's an online shop, and the cellar takes visitors for tastings by reservation. Its motto says the rest: 'Il Monferrato in un bicchiere', Monferrato in a glass.
