Sant'Evasio is run by four of the same family — Piero, Anna, Andrea and Emanuela — in Nizza Monferrato. Their reds go from Barbera d'Asti and Nizza to Barolo, Grignolino and Dolcetto; the whites are Gavi, Arneis, Chardonnay and Cortese; and there's a rosé plus the sparkling and sweet end — Moscato d'Asti, Brachetto, Alta Langa and a house Brut.
They also bottle grappe from Barbera and Moscato, and the sales cellar is open on weekdays. The website reads in Italian, English, French and German, so language won't be what stops you.
