Founded in 1918, Giovanni Piacenza is a three-generation family estate with around ten hectares in the heart of the Barbera d'Asti zone at Nizza Monferrato. The cellar works only its own fruit, holding to traditional methods while letting in modern technique.
There are about nine wines across red, white and sparkling, led by the Barbera d'Asti and the Nizza DOCG and filled out with Albarossa, Barbera del Monferrato, Dolcetto, Chardonnay, a Moscato and a Brut. Visits and tastings run through the year by appointment.
