Il Botolo takes its name from a stray dog that adopted the place and ended up its emblem. Roberto de Silva founded the estate in 2007 on the hills of Nizza Monferrato, and it farms around fifteen hectares across the Colombaro and Le Coccole vineyards.
Barbera leads the wines — Barbera d'Asti and the flagship Nizza DOCG and Riserva — with Chardonnay, Moscato d'Asti and traditional-method sparklers alongside. Arrange it first and you can walk the vineyards and taste at the cellar.
