Up on a ridge in Regione Mariano, the Giribaldi family works a handful of hillside hectares with the view running clear across the Monferrato. This is small, unfussy winemaking, three generations deep: Barbera first, with a Dolcetto and a sweet Moscato alongside — the sort of honest table wine locals have bought by the case for years.
There's no website and no polished tasting room; you phone ahead and someone shows you the tidy cellar and pours what's in the barrel. The welcome is the whole point here — a friendly hour on a hilltop, a few bottles for the car, and a family glad you found the turning.
