A Norwegian family took over this cascina in San Marzano and now farms its DOCG hillsides by hand, keeping the crop small on purpose. Two grapes carry the place — Barbera and Moscato — turned into five wines, a few of which travel all the way home to the shelves of Norway's Vinmonopolet.
It's a young, hands-on project rather than a visitor operation: no set tasting programme yet, and the vines get more attention than the signage. If you want to track down the wines or see the slope they come from, reach the family directly — they'll answer in Norwegian or English.
