Connections — mostra al Castello del Monferrato
A free summer contemporary-art show in the Manica Lunga of the Castello del Monferrato — ten artists on the theme of the ties between living things and their environment, open weekends through the end of August.
Why it's special
It's a reason to get inside the star-shaped fortress, and it's free: the long gallery of the Manica Lunga hung with work by ten contemporary artists, with a sound piece running through it. On through 31 August, so easy to fold into a Casale afternoon.

"Connections", promoted by Art Moleto, in the Manica Lunga of the Castello del Monferrato. Works by Paolo Bellon, Giò Bonardi, Ilenio Celoria, Piero Ferroglia, Michelle Hold, Carlo Ivaldi, Nina Schipoff, Bona Tolotti and Giorgio Zocco, with music by Esther Flückiger. Theme: the relationships and interconnections between living beings and their environment. Free entry; Sat–Sun 10:00–13:00 & 15:00–19:00.

Through the summer the Manica Lunga — the long gallery wing of the Castello del Monferrato — hangs work by ten contemporary artists under the title "Connections", promoted by Art Moleto. The thread running through it is the tie between living things and the world around them, with a sound piece by Esther Flückiger moving through the rooms.
It's free, and it's an easy excuse to get inside the fortress if you're in Casale on a weekend: open Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons, on through the end of August. Dates and hours above.
