Festa Patronale di San Giacomo, Revignano
Revignano, a hamlet in the countryside west of Asti, celebrates its patron St James with three summer evenings of Pro Loco dinners and free live music, including the long-running 'Cena sotto le stelle', dinner under the stars.
Why it's special
It's a proper frazione feast: the Pro Loco cooks, dinner is outdoors, and a band plays afterwards. In 2026 the Saturday dinner under the stars reached its 38th edition, with Piedmontese starters, agnolotti, wood-fired pizza and grilled meats.

Revignano is one of the frazioni of the comune of Asti, a small village among the hills to the west of the city, and its parish church is dedicated to San Giacomo, St James. Each summer the village Pro Loco celebrates its patron saint with a feast at its own ground by the Oratorio dell'Amicizia; in 2026 it ran over three nights in mid-July.
Each evening starts with an aperitif and goes on to a long dinner, with a different menu each night: fish on the Friday, the classic Piedmontese spread of carne cruda, vitello tonnato, agnolotti and grilled meat on the Saturday's 'Cena sotto le stelle', and burgers and pizza alongside the local dishes on the Sunday.
