Bazzana is one of the hamlets of Mombaruzzo, and its Pro Loco, the Amici di Bazzana, gives a winter evening over to fritto misto. The traditional Piedmontese fritto misto is a feast of many small fried things, savoury and sweet, and every kitchen has its own line-up. This one is 'alla Bazzanese'.
