Langhet en Festa — Camo
Four evenings of Moscato-hill village feasting in tiny Camo, just over the hill from Canelli — gnocchi, grilled costata, friciule and local wine, live bands each night, and a Sunday Vespa run through the vineyards.
Why it's special
A proper Langhe-Astigiane paese festa a short drive from Canelli: fixed-menu dinners in the streets with the Moscato producers pouring, a different band every night, and the 14th Vespagiro on the Sunday looping the Moscato hills. Family-friendly and cheap.
Programme · 2026
47th edition of Langhet en Festa, in the centro storico of Camo:
- Dinners are fixed-menu and start 20:00–20:30 in the centro storico; the Sunday Vespagiro opens registration at 08:30 with breakfast, a panoramic ride through the Moscato hills and an aperitivo at Café Castiôn in Castiglione Tinella.
- Camo is about 10 minutes from Canelli — an easy add-on to a Canelli evening.
Ten minutes over the hill from Canelli, the small Moscato village of Camo throws its 47th Langhet en Festa across four evenings at the turn of the month. It's the classic Langhe-Astigiane paese festa: the streets set with tables, a fixed menu each night — gnocchi on the Friday, grilled costata and salsiccia on the Saturday, friciule and salumi to close on the Monday — the local producers pouring Moscato and reds, and a different band playing every evening.
The Sunday is the fun one: the Vespagiro, now in its 14th year, sets off mid-morning on a panoramic loop through the Moscato hills with an aperitivo stop before prize-giving and lunch back in Camo. Cheap, family-friendly, and an easy add-on to a Canelli weekend. Dates and the night-by-night menu above.
