Every August Montemagno Monferrato holds its patronal village festival in the park of the Castello di Montemagno, the castle that crowns the hill above the borgo. It's the local Pro Loco's big weekend: a few evenings of live orchestra and disco, a gastronomic stand and a market under the trees.
This is a paese-in-festa for the village itself rather than a visitor draw — but if you're staying nearby in late summer it's a genuine slice of Monferrato community life. Check the comune's events page for the current year's dates and line-up (see above); the dates listed here are from the last confirmed edition.
