Bersano has been making wine in Nizza Monferrato since 1907, and it's one of the town's landmark houses, drawing on ten estate cascine spread across the Langhe and Monferrato. The range goes a long way — local Nizza DOCG and Barbera d'Asti through to Barolo, Barbaresco, Gavi DOCG and Ruchè, sparkling Metodo Classico, and sweet Moscato and Brachetto.
Besides the enoteca there's a well-known wine museum and the historic cellars, and the visit is a proper structured tour rather than a quick pour. Book the themed 'Monferrato' or 'Langhe' tastings online, in Italian or English.
