La Gironda has been family-run in Nizza Monferrato since 2000 and farms with a strong environmental focus, holding ISO 14001 certification and working the vineyards by hand with minimal intervention. Barbera sits at the heart of the estate.
The line-up runs from the Barbera d'Asti 'La Lippa' and Superiore 'La Gena' to the Nizza DOCG 'Le Nicchie', plus Monferrato reds, a Sauvignon, Moscato and Brachetto, and the Metodo Classico 'Galandrino'. Visitors can tour the vineyards and cellar and taste overlooking Nizza, by reservation.
