Fiera dei Santi di San Damiano d'Asti
San Damiano d'Asti's traditional autumn fair in early November: a large street market and a show of agricultural machinery in the town centre, a small-animals market, the Palio committee's food stands, band and flag-waver shows, and a funfair.
Why it's special
An old-style country fair that still fills the centre of a market town: farm machinery next to clothes and household stalls, poultry and rabbits on the Baluardo, and lunch from the Palio committee's kitchen in Piazza Libertà. Until 2025 it shared the All Saints weekend with the town's truffle fair; in 2026 it has its own weekend.
Programme · 2026
In Piazza Libertà, Piazza 1275 / Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, Baluardo Palestro and Piazza Stefanizzi.
- It runs on a Sunday and the following Monday morning, when it merges with the weekly market.
- Lunch is at the Palio committee's stands in Piazza Libertà from 12:30, with tastings at the Enoteca Regionale Colline Alfieri.
- The funfair is in Piazza Stefanizzi.

The Fiera dei Santi is San Damiano d'Asti's All Saints fair, a traditional autumn market of the kind many Piedmontese country towns hold in November. Stalls of clothes, tools and household goods fill the centre, dealers line up tractors and farm machinery in Piazza 1275 and Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, and poultry, rabbits and other small animals are sold on the tree-lined Baluardo Palestro, where the town's monthly small-animals market is held.
In 2024 and 2025 the fair was the Monday-morning finale of the town's national truffle fair. In 2026 the truffle fair moved to December, and the Fiera dei Santi has a weekend of its own: the Sunday has the market, a band and majorettes in the morning, lunch from the Palio committee's stands in Piazza Libertà with the wines of the Enoteca Regionale Colline Alfieri, and the Palio flag-wavers in the afternoon. On Monday morning the stalls and machinery are back, alongside the weekly market. A funfair sets up in Piazza Stefanizzi for both days.
