Mercato settimanale di Nizza Monferrato
Every Friday morning Nizza's open-air market fills the central squares — food, fruit and veg, local produce, and clothing and household stalls.
Why it's special
It spreads around Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza XX Settembre, and the seasonal produce stalls are where you'll find the local Cardo Gobbo (hunchback cardoon) and other Valle Belbo specialities.
A tip
- Come before noon for the pick of the produce, and park just outside the centre where it's easier.
- A smaller produce market also runs on Wednesdays.
