Nizza Monferrato is the heart of the Nizza DOCG, the top expression of Barbera. An arcaded market town in the province of Asti, it is known for its enoteche, the Saturday market, the "Cardo Gobbo" hunchback cardoon and easy access to the vineyards of Monferrato and the Langhe.
