Nizza's big spring fair turns on agriculture and country life: farm, wine, gardening and earth-moving machinery on show, plus a huge town-wide market, food stalls and the amateur 'Giro del Nizza' cycling event.
Why it's special
A serious farm-machinery exhibition takes over Piazza Garibaldi, and around it grow the 'Festa della torta verde', guided visits to Nizza's historic sites and the long-running Giro del Nizza cycle ride — one of the town's largest annual gatherings.
