Attraverso Festival threads through the hills of Langhe, Monferrato, Roero and the Piedmontese Apennines every summer — theatre, comedy, music and talks across around thirty towns in the provinces of Asti, Alessandria and Cuneo. Its Canelli date is one of the few it plays indoors, at the town's Teatro Balbo.
That usually means a single evening with a comedian or actor most Italians would know by name, on a proper stage rather than a piazza. It's a warmer, more intimate way to catch the festival — and, being indoors and ticketed, it fills up.
